Lightning Sessions – Poster Lightning Talks
The lightning sessions are reserved exclusively for poster presenters and are designed to spotlight their research in a concise, high‑visibility format. Because the stage is located in a publicly accessible area of the venue, these brief presentations will be advertised openly and can also attract interested visitors from outside the congress, offering poster presenters a unique chance to reach audiences beyond the EPSC community.
Speaker information
- The presentation is limited to 3 minutes with 2 minutes allocated for change of the speakers, resulting in a 5-minute time slot.
- The presenter is allowed to have a single PDF slide that is shown. This can be a whole poster or a slide crafted specifically for this purpose.
- The presentation file should be uploaded as supplementary material to have it easily accessible by searching for the poster abstract ID. Alternatively and/or as a backup, the presenter can bring the presentation file on a USB stick.
- Use the signup tool below to register for the defined time slots and session topics.
- Two Open Lightning Sessions are available for presentations that do not fit the outline topics.
Logistics
- Handling of presentation files will be done by conveners of the respective lightning talk session.
- Walk-ups in the case of a no-show are possible but are in the discretion of the chairing convener.
