Social Dinner
You are cordially invited to join the social event at Patagonia Beach on Wednesday evening. From 19.00 to 23.00 hrs Patagonia Beach will welcome EPSC to enjoy the Scheveningen beachfront, where a BBQ dinner (buffet) will allow you to unwind from the buzz of the conference. Meet up with friends and socialize with colleagues while enjoying the breeze of the North Sea and the sounds of the breaking surf. Patagonia Beach is a pavilion where the cooking is done with passion, making use as much as possible of organic and sustainable products.
Registration
During the registration for EPSC you can also register for the social dinner. The BBQ buffet at the beach dinner also has vegetarian options and can accommodate your dietary wishes: please indicate your preference during registration. Welcome snacks, a buffet, and four tokens for drinks are included in the price.
How to get there
Patagonia Beach is situated at the northern-most end of the Scheveningen boulevard, at the beginning of the Zwarte Pad. The Zwarte Pad is easily accessible by public transport and bicycle, and we recommend using one of those options.
- Public transport: From Amare, you can easily take tram 1 or tram 9 to the final stop Zwarte Pad in Scheveningen. From the tram stop, it is a short walk to the beach pavilion.
- Bike: There is a guarded "Biesieklette" located on the Scheveningen boulevard to park bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles. This parking garage is open until 23:00 hrs during the summer months. From the Biesieklette, you can walk directly to Patagonia Beach.
- Accessible mobility: Mobility-impaired persons can be dropped almost at the doorstep of the pavilion, at the Gevers Deynootweg next to the Carlton Beach hotel.
- Car: Parking is available at the Interpark Boulevard.
